Experimenting with ads

This blog recently achieved my critical mass definition with 4000 views. At this point, I am ready to experiment with some new stuff. The first of this is to add some ads to this blog. I am extremely conflicted on the merits of ads in my blog and hence the experimental tag to it. I am not sure if the ad money is worth cluttering up the blog. I am not sure if it affects the aesthetics. Most importantly I am not sure if it affects my integrity as a writer on this blog and the reader's expectations.I took a short straw poll on Facebook to see what the reaction would be to having blogs. Everyone said go for it. And here I am. You will see Google AdSense (the service I plan to use) cropping up on this blog sometime soon. Please feel free to share your experiences with me. If you think it is distracting let me know. If you believe it affects the integrity of the blog, most certainly worth a note. If you think the ads are inconsequential to what you get out of the this blog, that would be nice to know too.
